Monica S. McNeal, 51, of New Hampshire, OH, passed away, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Lima Memorial Hospital.
Monica was born on June 23, 1970, in Urbana, OH. She is a daughter of the late Edwin Hoffman, and Elna Lou Thompson Hoffman, who survives in West Virginia. She was preceded in death by a son, Austin Knox.
On June 8, 2002, Monica married Philip McNeal at Urbana Swedenborgian Church, and he survives. She is also survived by three children, Brittany Knox of Alger, OH, Michael (Danielle) Knox of Urbana, and Chance (Briauna) Knox of New Hampshire, three grandchildren, Matthew Knox, Lucille Sexton, and Desiree Sexton, four siblings, Eric (Norma) Hoffman of Minnesota, Melody (Todd) Cavinder of North Carolina, Margaret Hoffman of West Virginia, and Amber Hoffman of Marysville, OH, father/mother-in-law, Kenneth and Sandra McNeal, sister-in-law, Julie (Dewayne) Parker, and brother-in-law, Kenneth (Stephanie) McNeal.
Monica was a 1988 graduate of West Liberty High School. She was a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of Indian Lake Iron Brothers LEMC. Monica enjoyed riding motorcycles with Philip, cutting hair, and working in her craft room making T-shirts, tumblers, and decals. Her greatest joy came from her family and especially her grandchildren.
Per Monica’s wishes, no public services are scheduled at this time.
