A contingent of ambulances, fire trucks and police cruisers led the Friday afternoon funeral procession for Krista Ansley McDonald, a Bellefontaine Police dispatcher and volunteer EMT with Southeast Hardin Ambulance District, who was killed while returning from a squad run a week ago today. They traveled beneath a garrison flag in downtown Bellefontaine hoisted by Bellefontaine and Kenton fire departments south along U.S. 68, where firefighters from DeGraff and Rosewood fire department, from front, Brad Jackson, Daryl Cordrey II and Caleb Ford, awaited in salute before the 41-year-old public servant was laid to rest in the Fairveiw Cemetery at West Liberty.
