• Bellefontaine — 9 a.m. parade Monday forms on Colton Avenue and Spring Street and moves north on Main to Sandusky Avenue to Vietnam Memorial where Gary Homan and Bob McColloch place a wreath and offer prayer; then to Bellefontaine Cemetery; grand marshal: Carolyn Brinkman; speaker: Lt. Col Joseph V. Graham, USAF.
• DeGraff/Quincy — Parade, with all veterans invited to ride on the veteran’s wagon, 10 a.m. Memorial Day, May 30, from the DeGraff American Legion Post to Greenwood-Union Cemetery, with guest speaker VFW district commander Todd Reveron and the Riverside High School Marching Band, then to Fairview Cemetery, Quincy, for another ceremony, followed by a fish fry at the American Legion, DeGraff.
• East Liberty — 10 a.m. Monday cerermony, East Liberty Cemetery; Benjamin Logan High School band; speaker: Sgt. John Godwin, Logan County Sheriff’s deputy; Hometown hero recognition; American Legion Post 745 firing squad.
• Huntsville — Ceremony, 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 29, Huntsville Cemetery, hosted by American Legion Charles Collins Post 381; moves to Huntsville Presbyterian Church in case of inclement weather; speaker: Judge Dan Bratka, Logan County domestic relations, juvenile, probate court, former Logan County magistrate, served 35 1/2 years with U.S. Air Force, retiring as lieutenant colonel; invocation: Huntsville Presbyterian Church Pastor Benjamin Beres; benediction: Pastor Bryan Meadows of Huntsville United Methodist Church; vocalist Regan Ross; wreath presentation, rifle squad leader Post 381 Commander Robert A. Coffman Jr., retired as staff sergeant from U.S. Marine Corps; taps by Kevin Harris.
• Middleburg — 76th annual parade, 11 a.m. Monday, form at 10 a.m. and move from township building, corner of county roads 152 and 153 to Middleburg Cemetery; speaker: Rick Riggs, pastor of Middleburg United Methodist Church; prizes for best costume, best decorated bike, ATV, garden tractor or go-cart, and float; all Zane Township veterans invited to ride on veterans float.
• West Liberty — American Legion Woodward-McGovern Post 426 conducts services beginning with a 2 p.m. Monday parade from the former high school down to Detroit Street to the fire department; speaker: Judge Dan Bratka, Logan County domestic relations, juvenile, probate court, former Logan County magistrate who served 35 1/2 years with U.S. Air Force, retiring as lieutenant colonel; grand marshal: John C. “Duke” Smith, Vietnam Purple Heart recipient; then to Fairview Cemetery for ceremony.
• West Mansfield — Ceremony, 10 a.m. Monday, May 30, West Mansfield Conservation Club, featuring an invocation by Mayor Kim Kerns, the introduction of Little Miss Poppy Lauren Van Winkle, music by Gloria Etherington, speaker Jim Small, USMC, a flag burning ceremony, American Legion 603 firing squad, prayers by Jack Knox and ceremonies at three cemeteries.
• Zanesfield — 9 a.m. Monday, May 30, parade travels from the fire house and to Zanesfield Cemetery, where Benjamin Logan Superintendent Dave Harmon speaks.
