A 40-year-old Bellefontaine man entered no contest pleas to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and first-degree felony aggravated vehicular homicide in a November fatality that claimed the life of Amanda Taylor, a 32-year-old mother of three.

David McLaughlin appeared Monday before Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge William T. Goslee who found the motorist guilty of the charges.
Goslee will impose a sentence at 10 a.m. April 1.
McLaughlin was southbound on U.S. Route 68 north of Township Road 199 at 7:10 p.m. Nov. 10 and drove his sport utility vehicle entirely across the center line into the path of Taylor’s northbound car.
The Belle Center resident was declared dead at the scene from trauma sustained in the head-on collision.
Testing showed McLaughlin’s blood alcohol level was 0.173.
He faces a maximum sentence of 11 years in prison under state sentencing guidelines.
