Mary Louise Hook, 91, of West Liberty, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 19, 2016, at Green Hills Inn.
She was born in Lima, on Sept. 19, 1925, to the late Walter and Rhema Cloe Grubb. She married Charles W. Hook on June 24, 1945, in West Liberty, and he preceded her in death Jan.14, 2015. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Foster, Joan Hughes and Jean Van Sant.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved to feed people from her kitchen, and from God’s word. She was a charter member of Grace Chapel.
Survivors include three sons, Jack W. (Coralyne) Hook of Tremont, Ill., David W. (Pam) Hook of West Liberty and Mark W. (Ruth) Hook of Lancaster, Pa.; three grandchildren, Aaron (Olivia) Hook, Adam Hook and Dana (Jakob) Stuber; six great-grandchildren, Skylar and Hunter Hatcher-Hook and Ivy, Genesis, Hazel and Abraham Stuber; a nephew, Paul W. Hook; a sister, Delores (Bill) Sanborn of Quincy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pastor Robert Parr officiates the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 101 Zanesfield Road, West Liberty, where visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial is in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.
