Mark Vernon Drown, 64, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on February 21, 2024.
He was born on November 4, 1959, in Fort Meade, Maryland, to the late Harlow “Shem” Drown and Roberta Drown.
Mark was a lifelong farmer who had a deep love for the land and agriculture, as well as anything and everything John Deere. He enjoyed listening to country music, and watching the Boston Celtics and Ohio State Buckeyes.
He is survived by his mother, Roberta Drown, his sister Robin (Jim) Pond, his brother Scott (Lynn) Drown, his son Jonathan-Mark Drown, his daughter Hannah-Marie Drown, his nephews Cole and Shem Pond, as well as Grady Drown, and niece Bailey Rose Drown. He was preceded in death by his father, Harlow Drown.
Mark attended Westminster Elementary School in Maryland and later graduated from Indian Lake High School.
A Celebration of Life service will be March 24 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Vicario’s Pizza in honor of Mark’s memory.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hopewell Church or the Indian Lake FFA in Mark’s honor. Mark will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
