Seth Kerns, 24, of 120 S. Sandusky St., Rushsylvania, reported to deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday that someone made fraudulent purchases from his bank account totaling $335.32.
Kerns said he checked his bank activity online that day, and found a total of five unauthorized purchases, all from Walmart stores in Columbus, Whitehall and Zanesville. He will be contacting his bank to determine more details about these transactions and will provide the information to deputies.
• Jason McCoy, 286 E. Center St., West Mansfield, filed a complaint Tuesday regarding the theft of his all-terrain vehicle.
He said he had asked a named suspect to perform repairs on his ATV about two weeks ago. However, he reportedly found his ATV parked at another nearby residence, and the resident there said the suspect had sold the ATV to him. Deputies continue to investigate.
