SLAVIN |
Timothy L. Slavin, 24, of Florida, was charged with domestic violence Wednesday evening after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend and she required medical treatment at Mary Rutan Hospital.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were dispatched about 5:30 p.m. to the area of Honda Transmission Mfg. in references to a female in the parking lot having difficulty breathing because of injuries from an assault.
When officers arrived, they were met by the victim, Stephanie Button, 22, of Bellefontaine, who was complaining of breathing problems because her boyfriend, Slavin, punched her. She stated that he had fled the scene.
Officers from Russells Point assisted and located the defendant inside of Burger King, 421 Madison St., Russells Point. Timothy was placed under arrest and was transported to the Logan County Jail.
Burton was transported to the hospital. During an interview there, officers were informed that Monday evening, she was treated at OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus for facial injuries because of an assault also involving Slavin.
