Sean S. Wyne, 32, of 850 Bonnie Lane, Apt. 708, was charged Thursday with three counts of domestic violence.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department met with Whitney Miller and her two daughters at a neighbor’s apartment around 11:35 a.m. They had fled for their safety and were taken in by the neighbor.
Officers entered 708 and did not find the suspect inside. They noted a Christmas tree was bent; ornaments were scattered about the floor; a kitchen trash can overturned; and television set knocked over and damaged. There also was blood found about the residence.
Wyne alleged became angry when Miller did not stick up for him in a Facebook post. He allegedly threw a cigarette at Miller and shoved one of the daughters. He also allegedly knocked Miller and the other daughter from a chair to the floor. At one point during the altercation, the suspect grabbed the older girl by the neck.
Officers reached the suspect through his mother and found him at Plumvalley and Chillicothe Avenue. The suspect’s right index finger knuckle was split open and required medical attention.
After treatment at Mary Rutan Hospital, Wyne was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
