Kenneth L. Golden, 53, of 12073 Holly Drive, Lakeview, was charged with domestic violence and received a parole violation Tuesday morning related to an incident overnight.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 6:10 a.m. to 400 Lincoln Boulevard, Apt. 13, Russells Point, in reference to neighbors reporting that the individuals in this apartment had been arguing “all night.”
When deputies arrived, they were greeted by resident Loretta Young, 51, who reported that she and Golden had been in an argument and that he had “pushed her around.” She said at one point, he allegedly grabbed her right arm and pushed her into a closet door, causing the door to be damaged.
Young said her elbow was hurting. Deputies also noticed that there were broken dishes on the kitchen floor and other broken items in the living room.
The defendant told deputies that during the pair’s argument, Young allegedly struck him with a plate, breaking it. Deputies observed three knots to his forehead area.
Deputies said he displayed signs of intoxication and also was drinking a beer while they interacted with him. Golden was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
