A 47-year-old Bellefontaine man was sentenced to eight years in prison for raping a 15-year-old girl while giving her a driving lesson.
Michael Eric Justin was sentenced by Logan County Common Pleas Judge William T. Goslee to the time without the possibility of early release and must register for life as a Tier III sex offender.
He was arrested in February after the teenage girl reported the rape, which occurred in the defendant’s vehicle at a location in Logan County.
Upon release from prison, Justin will be on five years’ post release control.

Jason Davidson, 39, of Lakeview, pleaded guilty before appointed Judge Mark S. O’Connor to having weapon under disability, aggravated assault and two counts of theft. He was immediately sentenced to three years in prison for his role in the crime.
Robinson and two other men, Michael Vogler of Lakeview and Brett Eley of Wapakoneta, were charged with the shooting. Vogler and Eley were already sentenced to community control for their role in the incident.
