SEIBER |
Joshua L. Seiber, 36, of 8854 Prince Road, Kings Landing, Lakeview, was charged with domestic violence and inducing panic after an incident at his home late Sunday evening.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to his residence shortly before midnight on a report of a domestic dispute. The defendant also had been making threats to harm himself and also law enforcement if they came to the residence.
His estranged wife, Jamie Seiber, 32, said she and her children had been sleeping at the home that evening when the defendant turned on loud music and woke them up. She said he began arguing with her, and when she threatened to call 911, he allegedly threw her cell phone on the roof of the home.
She then retrieved one of her children’s phones, and he also reportedly threw that phone on the roof.
Mrs. Seiber and her three children were able to leave the home in a vehicle, and deputies responded to the residence to speak with the defendant.
The Bellefontaine Police Department Special Response Team also was called to the scene, but before they arrived, the defendant reportedly exited the home without incident. He was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Deputies retrieved the phones from the roof of the home.
