A city man was charged with felony receiving stolen property after officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department responded to a report of open drug use in downtown Bellefontaine.
A witness reported seeing a woman crushing up a pill in the 100 block of south Main Street at about 6 p.m. Thursday and notified the police department.
Officers located Jeffrey Kissling, 44, of 4021⁄2 E. Columbus Ave., in possession of two bottles of prescription medication. One bottle was labeled as an antidepressant that officers believe was stolen while the second bottle contained two types of pills and was unlabeled.
Mr. Kissling was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
