A city man was arrested on multiple charges after a Monday afternoon incident that began at a Heritage Court apartment building.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department received a call that Durrell D. Parrish, 25, at large, was trespassing and causing a disturbance at 1068 Heritage Court at about 2 p.m.
He broke two windows in an effort to see his son and indicated that he had a gun on his person, the child’s mother, Miranda Stidam, reported. The suspect, however, fled the area on foot prior to officers’ arrival.
He was located in the 700 block of Eastern Avenue with the help of an off-duty police officer and during a search of his person, suspected crack cocaine, a pipe for smoking cocaine and $155 cash was located.
Mr. Parrish was lodged in the Logan County Jail on charges of trafficking cocaine, menacing, aggravated menacing, criminal damaging and intimidation.
