Last week in Logan County Common Pleas Court, Carl Vasquez, 36, of Mansfield, pleaded guilty to two counts of breaking and entering and will be sentenced Aug. 8.
He was charged in connection with attempted break-ins at Stemble’s Quality Meats, 18 E. State Route 273, Belle Center, and the Little Red Mill, 101 N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, on Nov. 23.
He and codefendants Ronnie Nichols, 38, and Coty Cantrell, 29, both also of Mansfield, were arrested in Hardin County after a caller reported suspicious activity near Stemble’s and was able to provide a description of a vehicle.
Mr. Cantrell has entered guilty pleas to breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools and will be sentenced June 20, while Mr. Nichols is still awaiting trial.
• Amber Hoy, 25, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to trafficking in drugs, and sentencing is scheduled for July 18.
