The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center announces the 89th annual Logan County Music and 50th annual Art Festival, slated for Friday, April 13, at Indian Lake High School.
Artwork from all grade levels will be displayed from 4 to 8 p.m. in the high school gym, with retired art teacher Dave Cline judging the high school students’ artwork.
A concert begins at 7 p.m. featuring the high school honors choir with students from Indian Lake, Benjamin Logan and Riverside local schools and the Indian Lake Middle School Spectaculars.
Dr. James W. Tipps, conductor of the Wright State University men’s chorale and university chorus, will serve as the guest conductor. He holds degrees in music education from Tennessee Technological University, Georgia Southern University and Florida State University.
This free event is a joint effort of the music and art teachers in Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake and Riverside school districts.
