A host of area basketball players and coaches were honored on the recently released all-District 9 media teams.
Ben Logan and West Liberty-Salem each won league titles this winter and their efforts did not go unnoticed by the District 9 coaches.
The Lady Raiders saw Nikki Current and Hayley Boysel land spots on the Division II all-District 9 team, while the Raiders’ Donnie Sosby was named the coach of the year.
West Liberty-Salem standout senior center Jamie Peterson was named the Division III District 9 player of the year and the Tigers’ Dennis McIntosh was named the co-coach of the year with Anna’s Doug Martin.
