Lloyd M. Kniceley, Jr., 56 of Quincy, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021, in his residence.
Lloyd was born on August 31, 1964, a son of the late Lloyd Myron and Etta (Noe) Kniceley, Sr. He is survived by his wife, the former, Cindy Weatherhead, whom he married on November 5, 1983. Together they raised two children: Jacob Lloyd Kniceley and fiancé Mackenzie Schulz of Quincy, and Megan Lynn (James) Leonard of Vandalia. He was a loving grandfather to Christopher Leonard.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Jeff Kniceley, preceded him in death.
Lloyd was a 1982 graduate of Graham High School and the owner of Kniceley Well Drilling. He was a member of Boggs Masonic Lodge # 292 Free and Accepted Masons of DeGraff. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and take his hunting trips out west.
In 1987, Lloyd started Kniceley Well Drilling back up with his father, later to have his son (Jacob) join the business as third generation, who now runs the family business.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 30, in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, N. State Route 235, Conover.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, April 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
