Lima Perry’s boys basketball team had its offense firing on all cylinders Friday as the Commodores cruised to a 77-29 win over Riverside in Northwest Central Conference play.
The Commodores move to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the NWCC, while the Pirates fall to 2-7, 0-2.
“We faced a really strong opponent,” said RHS head coach Seth Bodenmiller. “Perry is a very good and well-balanced team, so you have to give them and Coach (Matt) Tabler a lot of credit.
“Even though we made some mistakes throughout, I could not fault our effort. Everyone from the starters to the reserves came out and played hard from start to finish, which to me is more important than the outcome.”
