Lavonda Mae Clements, 88, of Lima, passed away at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at her residence.
She was born in Hardin County on Nov. 12, 1927, to the late Lemuel H. and Alta Mae Beck Liles. On June 24, 1961, she married Roy Clements Jr. and he preceded her in death Nov. 12, 2004.
She is survived by her brother, Harold (Joanne) Liles of Belle Center; nieces and nephews, Sheryl (Myron) Spencer, Russell Liles and Harold (Sylvia) Liles II, all of Belle Center, Laura (Anthony) Diggs of Galloway and Richard (Diane) Liles of Kingscreek; special friend, Vickie Decker of Lima; and several great- and great-great- nieces and nephews.
Lavonda was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church in Lima and the Ladies Auxiliary of United Transportation Association. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
Pastor Tim Benjamin officiates a funeral service at noon Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, where visitation is one hour prior to the service. Burial follows in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery.
