Larry P. Daum, 70, of West Mansfield, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at Logan Acres in Bellefontaine.
Born April 13, 1945, in Columbus, he was the son of the late Earnest H.P. and Lena Thompson Daum. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Phipps.
A loving husband and dedicated father, he drove truck for various companies over the years, enjoyed camping and fishing, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the West Mansfield United Methodist Church and the Indian Lake Moose Lodge.
On Feb. 3, 1967, he married Linda Luecht and she survives in West Mansfield. Also surviving are his children, Margaret Daum and Mary Daum, both of West Mansfield, and David (Jennifer) Daum of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Hayley (Jordan) Erevia, Shannon Perdue, Matthew Daum and Madeline Daum; a brother, Ernest (Shirley) Daum of Russells Point, and a brother-in-law, Jim Phipps.
A memorial service begins at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, in the West Mansfield United Methodist Church with Pastor Doug Thompson officiating. Calling is one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the West Mansfield United Methodist Church, Bokescreek EMS and Universal Hospice.
