All three area wrestling teams gave a strong performance to finish in the top of half of the Central Buckeye Conference tournament Saturday at Springfield Shawnee High School.

Out of 10 teams, Indian Lake was third overall, Bellefontaine came in fourth and Benjamin Logan was fifth.
Graham claimed another league championship with 305.5 points. The Falcons were first overall, claimed the Mad River division title and won 10 of 13 weight classes.
Tecumseh was second overall with 153.5 points and won the Kenton Trail division title.
Indian Lake held off Bellefontaine 125-120 to finish third overall and second in the Mad River division. The Chieftains were fourth overall and second in the Kenton Trail division. Benjamin Logan came in fifth overall and third in the Mad River division with 97.5 points.
“We wrestled pretty well for the most part,” said IL head coach Ryan Dickson. “Our final round we matched up with some really exceptional guys in a few classes, but my guys competed and didn’t back down from anyone, so that was good to see.”
