After many years of hard work, Hayden Pummel had a weight lifted off his shoulders Saturday. The Indian Lake sophomore placed third in the Division III district wrestling tournament in Troy and is now headed to the state meet.

“It’s definitely a great achievement,” said Pummel. “This is my first chance to go and compete and I’m looking forward to doing it the rest of my high school career.”
Only the top four wrestlers in each weight class moved on to the Division III state tournament this Thursday, Friday and Saturday in Columbus.
