The Indian Lake/Ohio Hi Point FFA wrapped up the recent 96th Annual State FFA Convention with several state degrees and awards. Pictured are ILHS/OHP FFA State Degree recipients, from the left, first row: Eli Wolf and Eva Carney; second row: Crosley Lacher and Annie Braig; and third row: Carlie Nickel and Ryan Culp. The State FFA Degree is the second highest level that can be achieved as an FFA member. This step in the FFA Degree system encourages students to grow and achieve personally toward establishing themselves in an agricultural career. In addition, ILHS Senior Ava Shroyer won first place in Goat Production Proficiency in the state and Senior Carlie Nickel was recognized for scoring first place in Poultry Management. Finally, ILHS Senior Ryan Culp won an Earl F. “Doc” Kantner Scholarship and Annie Braig and Alex Kinney each earned a Gold Rating on their officer books. (Indian Lake SCHOOLS PHOTO)
