Kristin A. Longberry, 55, of Huntsville, passed away Friday afternoon, March 11, 2022, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
Kristin was born in Lima, Ohio on June 19, 1966, to Ronald & Nancy (McConnell) Blake both of Elida, Ohio.
Kristin is survived by her husband Gary E. Longberry, whom she married on September 14, 2019. She is also survived by a son, Dillon Tibbitts of Port Jefferson; granddaughter, Amity Tibbitts; brothers, Brett (Kara Howell) Blake and Todd (Diane Eberle) Blake; sister, Melissa (John) Iiames; nephews, Hunter & Gage Iiames and her former spouse, Doug Tibbitts.
Kristin was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Princess & Charles McConnell and paternal grandparents, Geneva & Eugene Blake.
Kristin worked as a coordinator at NKA Transportation in Sidney and was former terminal manager at Martin Transportation in Lima and a former dispatcher at Top Line Express in Lima. She had a passion for animals and adored her living and deceased dogs, was a #1 Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians fan and also enjoyed NASCAR.
Kristin was a graduate of Elida High School and a 1984 graduate of Apollo Career Center.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate Kristin’s funeral on Wednesday, March 16, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where visitation will be held from noon to 2 before the funeral. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
