Keyma Evonne LyBurtus Brown, 34, of Springfield and formerly of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018, in Springfield.
Keyma was born in Bellefontaine on July 23, 1983, to Jerry LyBurtus and Dee L. “Candy” Brown.
She was a 2001 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and was a social butterfly. Most recently, she was working at Dole Packaging in Springfield.
Keyma is survived by her mother, Dee Loralee “Candy” (Denis Hostetler) Brown of Bellefontaine; her father, Jerry (Tina Daniel) LyBurtus of Bellefontaine; her daughter, Shaughnessi Marqué Hagans; sisters, Kyna Lynette (Andy Stevens) Brown of Lakeview and Tiara LyBurtus of Columbus; good friends, Jeanne Bray, Natasha Lewis and Ashley Mundy; aunts and uncles, John E. (Michele) Brown Jr., James W. (Mary) Brown, JoAnn Slade, Harold C. (Rhonda) Brown, Robert D. Brown, Meri A. (Larry) Scott, Kathy (Billy) Ferguson, Lacretia Jackson, Yvonne LyBurtus, LaTonya Vickers and Linda LyBurtus; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Keyma was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John E. Sr. and JoLynn Brown; paternal grandparents, Donald and Gloria Ann LyBurtus; uncles, Ben Slade and Duane LyBurtus; and aunt, Brenda McBeth.
Calling is from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Christ Our King Church, 1325 County Road 9, Bellefontaine, prior to the funeral service that begins at 3 p.m. with Elder Frank McCollough officiating.
Burial is at a later date in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
