Kevin Thomas Brown, 56, of Russells Point, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phyllis Brown; three daughters, Christina (Gary) Burt, Hattie Legge and April (Shawn) Thomas; 10 grandchildren, Megan Mast, Emma Legge, Zachary Burt, Bradley Burt, Cory Westfall, Maverick Hoffer, Allison Elliott, Elizabeth Elliott, Skylar Thomas and Libby Thomas; one great-grandson, William “Tigger man” Hayman; two brothers, Keith (Cindy) Brown and Chet (Stephanie) Brown; two sisters, Kathy (Gary) Defouw and Kim Jones; best friend and brother at heart, Randy Dearwester; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Samples, and grandparents.
Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting, disc golf, mushroom hunting, camping, music and, most important, he loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed watching sports like the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Cavaliers, sitting by the fire, having a few beers and chatting with the ones he loved. Kevin could always put a smile on your face and brighten up the room.
A casual-dress celebration of Kevin’s life is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and two hours prior to a memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, at Jennings Farley Funeral Home & Crematory, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty.
