Kenneth Carpenter, 92, Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, April 3, 2020, in his residence.
He was born Aug. 30, 1927, in Bellefontaine; the son of Frederick Earl and Susan (LeVan) Carpenter. Kenneth was retired from Super Foods after 30 years of service, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a loving husband, uncle and friend.
Survivors include his wife Mary E. (Wenger) Carpenter; his brother-in-law Arthur Kemp; sisters-in-law Ruth and Joe Wenger Stickrod and Shirley Wenger; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters Virginia and Eileen.
Pastor Jeff Willetts will officiate a graveside service at noon Wednesday, April 8, at Highland Memorial Cemetery gazebo for family only. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory, 5591 S. US Route 68, West Liberty, Ohio, 43357.
Due to the COVID-19 virus, the family requests a card shower for any expressions of sympathy to be sent to the funeral home in care of the Carpenter family.
