Rushsylvania Village Council members approved letters to be mailed to violators of the village ordinance prohibiting leaving junk, unlicensed or abandoned vehicles on private or public property. The action came during a regular meeting of the council Monday evening, attended by all members.
Council passed a resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county auditor.
Failure to comply with the ordinance is a minor misdemeanor punishable by a $150 fine for each day and each vehicle in noncompliance.
