Judith E. Pickering, 75, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, at her residence.
She was born June 12, 1941, in Bellefontaine, a daughter of the late David and Nora E. Redmond Ackerman. She also was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Janet Simpson.
Survivors include her sons, Lewis W. (Donna) Pickering II, David T. Pickering and Matthew T. Pickering; brother, David F. (Peggy) Ackerman Jr.; brother-in-law, Robert Simpson; grandchildren, Kody, Dylan, Mason, Dani, Mikki, Trey, Trevor, Trenton, Kirsti and Jersey Pickering; stepgrandchildren, including Heather and Jessie Logan; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and former husband, Lewis W. Pickering.
Judith was the retired co-owner of the Bakers Dozen and a member of First Lutheran Church of Bellefontaine. Her true love was her family and sharing God with her grandchildren.
Visitation is two hours prior to a memorial service at noon Thursday, July 28, at Jennings Farley Funeral Home, 5591 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty.
