Judith “Judy” Ann Edgecomb, 76, of Zanesfield, passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Judith was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Farmington, Maine, to the late Walter Sigurd and Emily Martha Harvi Winquist. On Sept. 13, 1969, in Massachusetts she married Clifford Ralph Edgecomb.
Judy was the proud owner and operator for more than 25 years of The Pet Cottage, a dog grooming and boarding shop. She also worked part time as an LPN for many years at McAuley Center Nursing Home in Urbana while operating The Pet Cottage. She enjoyed photography, quilting and sewing, card making and competing in dog agility trials. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff Edgecomb; two daughters, Wendy (Gregory) Beaverson and Robin (Chad) Elkins; two brothers, Donald (Sandra) Winquist and Anthony “Tony” (Phyllis) Winquist; a sister, Marie (Michael) Gipe; three grandchildren, Emily Beaverson, Henry Beaverson and Jacob Elkins; and a very close sister-in-law, Carol Edgecomb.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory.
