Joshua Michael Schneider, 34, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 29, 2016, at his home.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in Bellefontaine.
Josh was born on Oct. 29, 1981, to Michael and Cindy Stafford Schneider in Bellefontaine.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister-in-law, Rachel White.
He married Alexis White Schneider on Dec. 9, 2013, in Columbus and she survives, along with his mother, who resides in Columbus; sisters, Amanda (Jeff) Oden of Columbus and Melissa (T.J.) Hubbard of Bellefontaine; aunts and uncles, Tom and Candy Schneider of Dixon, Calif., Michael and Sue Algeo of Springfield, and Audrey Stafford of Columbus; father- and mother-in-law, Dave and Cheryl White of Grove City; and nieces and nephews, Elianna Showers, Zachary Schneider, Parker Hubbard and Gabriel Oden.
Josh graduated from Indian Lake High School in 2000 and later from Columbus State University. He worked as a certified technician for Verizon Wireless in Columbus.
He was a humorous and gentle man who was the light of his family and extended family’s life. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends and family as the guy who loved to make people laugh.
He loved reading comic books, playing video games, watching the Cleveland Browns, snuggling with his “devil kitty” Remus, and spending time with friends and family.
