Joseph Allen Chamberlin, 69, of Belle Center, passed away at 4:53 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at his residence. He was born in Kenton, June 10, 1950, to the late Coral D. and Betty Lou (Wood) Chamberlin. On July 16, 2005, he married Jane L. (Harvey) Chamberlin and she preceded him in death Feb. 26, 2017. A son, Michael Joseph Chamberlin in 1997; sister, Melba Chamberlin; and brother, Thomas Edgar Chamberlin; also preceded Joe in death.
He is survived by his children, Brian Chamberlin of Kenton, and Melissa “Missy” Chamberlin of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren, Hunter Wayne Michael, Devon Blade, Brease Michaela, and Brooklynn Marie; mother of his children, Minnie Gibson of Upper Sandusky; sisters, Patty Bechtel, Julie Varner, Candy (Jerry) Britain, all of Belle Center, and Carol (Bob) Wilt of Kenton; brothers, Ronnie (Miriam) Chamberlin, Terry (Connie) Chamberlin, both of Bellefontaine, and Raymond Chamberlin of Belle Center; and many nieces and nephews.
Joe worked for Airstream, Honda and retired from Shelley Materials. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and farming. Joe loved to be with his friends at the bar, and in his “man cave.” All who knew and loved Joe will miss him.
Visitation is Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306 N. Elizabeth Street, Belle Center. Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral service at noon on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial follows in Fairview Cemetery in Belle Center.
