John Patrick Tynan, 61, of Kissimmee, Fla., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 28, 2017.
He was born in Franklin on Dec. 12, 1955, to LaDonna “Johnni” Johns Bates who survives in Homosassa, Fla., and the late Don M. Tynan.
He is also survived by his children, Kasey Tynan, Kristen Tynan, Kara Tynan, John Tynan and Maggie Tynan; a granddaughter, Kylie Fields; brothers, James Eric (Diane) Tynan, Paul Edgar Tynan and Dan R. Tynan; and a sister, Shelly (Mike) Anderson.
An infant son, Kevin Tynan; brothers, Michael E. Tynan and Terrence R. Tynan; and a niece, Cheryl Tynan, preceded John in death.
John was a veteran of the United States Navy. He served from 1973 to 1977, and from 1977 to 1979 in the Navy Reserves. John had a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and an associate degree in nursing. John was a member of the VFW. He was a loving father and grandfather. John loved to fly planes and enjoyed helping his children. All who loved him will miss him.
Funeral services will take place at the convenience of the family.
