Jodi L. Gerritsen, 42, of Belle Center, journeyed from this life to the next at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at The Ohio State University James Cancer Center, Columbus.
She was born in Findlay on July 5, 1973, to Dennis and Linda Beck Burden.
On April 11, 1997, she married Brad Gerritsen in Findlay and he survives, along with their three sons, Mike Gerritsen, Greggory Gerritsen and Billy Gerritsen; a sister, Linda Sue Burden II; a brother, James (Kerrie) Burden; 10 nieces and nephews, Cassandra, Jimmy, Michael James, Jackie, Katie, Joey, Abbie, Cotdy, Dominic and Elijah; and great- nieces and nephews that were her life, including Diamond, Johnathan, Davison, Starr, Lil’ J., Ariana and Juliette, and the late Melissa and Katherine.
Jodi is blessed with an extensive family too numerous to mention. Her capacity to love was so complete it ensured that all friends were considered family and held dear to her heart.
A tax expert for H&R Block in Kenton, Jodi was a member of DAV Chapter 43 in Findlay.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 306. N. Elizabeth St., Belle Center, where Pastor Kevin Smith officiates a funeral at noon Tuesday, June 14. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery. Those attending the funeral who possess Jodi’s Journey shirts are requested to wear them.
