Jeff A. Zedeker, 60, of Bellefontaine, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, surrounded by his family that loved and cherished him.
He was born in Marysville, on Oct. 18, 1956. to the late George M. and Carolyn M. Shoemaker Zedeker. On Nov. 30, 1979, he married Shari Yelton and she survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Shannon (Mike) Randolph of Springfield, Heather (Larry) Yoder of Bellefontaine and Tara (Logan) Marmon of West Mansfield; grandchildren, Alexis and Kaiden Yoder and Amelia and Macie Marmon; a grandchild-on-the-way, Lane Jeffrey Randolph; sisters, Vicki Huffman and Diane (Don) Stevens, both of Florida and Darlene (Steve) Bates of West Mansfield; a brother, Mike (Carol) Zedeker of Kenton; and many nieces and nephews.
He also was preceded in death by siblings, Connie Kinney and Doug Zedeker.
Jeff graduated from Ben Logan High School. He worked 20 years for Carter Steel and 10 years at Honda Transmission before retiring. Jeff was a former competitive powerlifter and won two national titles. He loved sports, especially baseball and softball, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and attending the grandkids’ sporting events. All who loved him will miss him.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiated a funeral service today at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
