Jeanette Marker, 74, of Bellefontaine, passed away Thursday afternoon, Aug. 25, 2016, at Kobacher House, Columbus.
She was born June 15, 1942, in Champaign County to the late Orval and Margaret Couchman Marker. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Marker and a brother, Charles Marker.
Survivors include her twin sister, Janet Marker of Bellefontaine; a sister, Betty Hoyng of Celina; a sister-in-law, Georgia Marker of Lakeview; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She retired from Nationwide Insurance in Columbus in 1999 after 37 years of service. She is a member of the Broad Street United Methodist Church in Columbus where she was an active member and loved to serve the Lord. After retirement, she moved to Bellefontaine to live with her sister. Jeanette enjoyed painting with watercolors, crafts, card games and being with her friends at the Logan County Friendly Senior Center.
The Rev. Lou Seipel officiates a funeral service at 11a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, where visitation is one hour prior to the service.
Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Logan County Friendly Senior Center, 934 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, OH 43311 and to the Broad Street United Methodist Church, 501 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215.
