Janice Ashcraft, 87, of West Liberty, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at Green Hills Care Center, West Liberty.
She was born in Bellefontaine on Jan. 3, 1931, to the late Leo A. and Maud Black Ashcraft. Janice was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marguerite and Maurice Yoder; and a nephew, Kenneth M. Yoder.
She is survived by her nephew, Gregory (Maureen) Yoder; grand nephews and niece, Gavin (Kristen) Yoder, Colin (Carrie) Yoder, Grant (Elizabeth) Yoder, Drew (Signe) Yoder, Amy Jared, Justin Yoder, and their families.
Janice was in banking for more than 40 years and retired from Huntington National Bank. She was a member of the West Liberty Presbyterian Church and of Sarah Elizabeth Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Daughters of American Revolution, and was very active in the Logan County Senior Center. She loved watching old movies, listening to music and her cats. Janice enjoyed traveling and shopping with her good friend, Mary Headley. Janice will be missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service takes place at 1 p.m. Monday, March 26, in Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
