Jane Ellen Taylor, 67, of Bellefontaine and Florida, passed away peacefully at her home Dec. 24, 2019.
Jane was born in Piqua on May 3, 1952, to the late Bill and Jean Ward Yoder of Bellefontaine.
On May 3, 1975, Jane married Dane L. Taylor and he survives, along with a son, Michael Shane Knox; a granddaughter, Taylor (Eddie) Huffman, and their daughter and Janes’ great granddaughter, Kaisley Huffman of Bellefontaine. Jane is also survived by a sister Mic (Jeff) Gorham of Huntsville and will be fondly remembered and especially missed by the many nieces and nephews that were blessed to have been included in her life, including her sisters-in-law and many friends.
Jane loved to travel and go to flea markets all around the country with Dane and sometimes with the nieces and nephews taking them to such places as the Mothman Festival in W. Va., Sand Dunes in Michigan and to their Florida home.
Jane was very creative person who loved to crochet and make blankets for her new nieces and nephews and friends as well as making wreaths.
Jane loved animals and would always take animals in, she leaves behind her dogs, Willow, Zoey Jane, Lippy, and her many cats especially Emmy.
The family will announce and have a memorial service for Jane at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the local and state pet rescues and to hospice.
