Humble Construction Co. of Bellefontaine and CMG Co. of West Mansfield were among the suppliers honored during its the annual Honda Indirect Procurement Supplier Conference at the Honda Heritage Center.
CMG received a special recognition award which is given for specific initiatives of out-of-the-ordinary contributions.

Indirect purchasing for business and manufacturing operations in Indiana and Ohio from more than 2,200 suppliers totaled $2.55 billion during calendar year 2017.
Unlike suppliers that provide parts and materials for the mass production of Honda products, the more than 5,000 North American suppliers categorized as “indirect procurement” provide Honda companies with a wide variety of equipment, products and services that support business operations and the manufacturing of automobiles, engines and transmissions.
Many of these local and national companies have grown along with Honda in North America since the company began production in Ohio in 1979.
