Several pieces of artwork created by Indian Lake Elementary and Middle School students are currently displayed in several downtown Columbus venues.
Artwork by first-graders Nicholas Beair and Tyler Tidwell, fourth-grader KaiLea Miller, fifth-grader Paige Mefford, sixth-grader Laura Partington and seventh-grader Kayla Roberts was selected for the Central Region Student Art Show at the Rhodes State Tower Building.
Third-grader Czar Dickson’s and eighth-grader Shianna Miller’s pieces are featured at the Youth Art Month Exhibition at the downtown State Teachers Retirement System Building. This show is hosted by the Ohio Art Education Association.
Finally, second-grader Mara Bihn’s piece and eighth-grader Hayli Hamilton’s work are displayed at the Young People’s Art Exhibition at the downtown Rhodes State Tower Building, also hosted by the Ohio Art Education Association.
A recent reception honored all the students selected for these art shows. The pieces will all remain on display through the end of March.
The elementary students are instructed by Terry Nelson. The middle school students are instructed by Rebecca Dotson.
