The Benjamin Logan Instrumental Music Department hosts a benefit concert that is open to the public at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21, in the High School Commons to raise money for the Logan County Cancer Society.
The ninth annual “Improvising A Cure” will feature the high school and middle school jazz ensembles and combos, along with a silent auction (student artwork), bake sale, 50/50 drawing and barbecue themed dinner (bbq pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, cheesy potatoes, coleslaw etc.).
There is no cost to attend this event, but donations are appreciated. All proceeds will be donated to the Logan County Cancer Society.
The event also celebrates April as Jazz Appreciation Month.
