Indian Lake Elementary School physical education teacher Kristen Soos reports during the month of February, students taking part in the annual Jump Rope for Heart event brought in nearly $4,300 for the American Heart Association.
A total of 15 students raised more than $100 dollars each.
The top fundraising students are: Kayla Tracey, first place; Kruz Klinker, second place; Piper Burch, third place; Chance Alberding, fourth place. Third-graders brought in Lindsey Hollars’ class brought in the highest amount of any classroom.
In addition to raising money for the cause, students practiced many different jump rope techniques in gym class during the month of February and took part in extra physical education activities in classrooms. (PHOTO | INDIAN LAKE SCHOOLS)
