Indian Lake’s boys basketball team came alive in the fourth quarter and rallied for a 46-39 win over host Bethel Monday in a non-league game.
The win pushes the Lakers to 4-3 on the season as the Bees fall to 4-5.
Bethel took an 11-9 lead to end the first quarter. The Bees edged the Lakers 13-11 in the second quarter to build a 24-20 advantage at halftime.
Indian Lake began to rally in the third quarter with a 12-11 effort. That cut Bethel’s lead to a 35-32 score. The fourth quarter saw the Lakers surge with a 14-4 run and take over the lead to win the game.
Clay Jacobs fueled the Lakers with 21 points, including four three pointers, Austin Parker tallied 12 points and Zander Barnes added seven points.
In junior varsity action, Bethel clipped Indian Lake 40-39. Logan Evans led Lakers with 11 points.
Indian Lake travels to Graham on Friday for a Central Buckeye Conference game.
