When Honda’s U.S. plants hit the next 25 million milestone, Tom Shoupe is sure the plants and technology will look decidedly different.

“The thing about Honda is that we are always innovating and reimagining products and process,” the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Honda of America Manufacturing Inc. said as the automaker celebrated the 25 millionth vehicle assembled in the U.S.
“We never rest on the latest achievement,” he told associates assembled Wednesday at the Marysville Auto Plant for the event. “This achievement truly represents (the) customers who put their faith in the Honda brand and we will continue to honor this relationship with a focus on achieving the highest levels of quality and innovation in the next 25 million vehicles.
“Our products will be different and our plants will have new technology, but the passion of our associates and the joy of our customers will remain.”
