Representatives from the Logan County History Center recently announced that they have made the difficult decision to cancel the annual Christmas at the History Center Open House as a result of the influx of COVID-19 cases in the area.
However, the History Center will be decorated for the holidays from approximately Dec. 5 through 14.
The facility will be open for its regular hours of 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for visitors to walk through to view the trees and rooms. There will be a limit of 20 visitors in the History Center at one time.
All visitors, volunteers and staff must wear mask and practice social distance distancing, representatives said. There will not be any live entertainment, refreshments or crafts this year.
In addition, the History Center will offer a virtual tour of the Christmas trees and mansion rooms posted at www.loganhistory.org and on the organization’s Facebook page.
