The Logan County Engineer’s Office hosts a public meeting regarding the proposed County Road 21 bridge project from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, at the Bloomfield Township Building, 5726 C.R. 21.
The estimated $4.659 million project will provide a new design-standard bridge over the Great Miami River, with construction slated for 2020. At the same time, the existing historic truss bridge over C.R. 21 will remain in place for future preservation, as the structure built in 1882 is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
At the meeting, officials will offer a project presentation from 5 to 5:30 p.m., followed by public comments from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. An open house will take place during the remainder of the session, when citizens can speak one-on-one with project team members.
Individuals who desire to make public statements will be asked to limit their statements to less than three minutes.
