The Hilliker YMCA youth swim team finished second in a three-team meet at the Miami County YMCA in Troy on Saturday.
The Miami County team won with 4,179 points, the Hilliker squad had 718 and Champaign County was third with 346 points.
In the girls 8-and-under division for the Hilliker team, Caroline Jones was second in the 25 freestyle and third in the 25 backstroke and Aurelia Maurer finished first in the 25 freestyle and first in the 25 backstroke.
For the 9-10 age division, Clara Core finished sixth in the 50 backstroke, Ella Fultz was seventh in the 50 butterfly, eighth in the 50 backstroke and eighth in the 50 freestyle and Annika Schmidt placed second in the 50 freestyle and fifth in the 50 backstroke.
In the 11-12 age group, Keira Penrod was seventh in the 100 freestyle and ninth in the 50 freestyle, Gillian Steele finished third in the 50 breaststroke, fourth in the 100 freestyle and sixth in the 50 freestyle and Annika Chappell placed third in the 200 freestyle, third in the 50 backstroke and eighth in the 50 butterfly.
For the 13-14 girls age division, Anne Braig was fourth in the 100 frestyle, fifth in the 50 freestyle and sixth in the 100 backstroke, Laney Craig finished 10th in the 100 freestyle, Zoephia Rister was fourth in the 200 freestyle and ninth in the 100 freestyle and Bridgette Walters finished 10th in the 100 backstroke.
For the Hilliker boys team, in the 8-and-under division, Caleb Hudson finished first in the 25 backstroke and first in the 25 freestyle.
In the 9-10 age group, Thomas Jones was second in the 50 breaststroke, fourth in the 50 freestyle and seventh in the 50 backstroke and Hudson Maurer placed third in the 50 backstroke, fifth in the 50 breaststroke and eighth in the 50 freestyle.
For the 11-12 age division, Cody Hudson placed first in the 50 butterfly, second in the 50 backstroke and second in the 50 breaststroke.
In the 13-14 age group, Nolan Core placed second in the 200 individual medley, third in the 100 freestyle and third in the 100 backstroke.
For the 15-18 age division, Ryan Braig placed first in the 100 freestyle, first in the 200 individual medley and first in the 50 freestyle.
