Urbana jumped out to a big early lead and held off Indian Lake in the final innings for a 9-6 victory over the host Lakers in a Central Buckeye Conference baseball game Wednesday.

The Lakers, who claimed the outright CBC Mad River title on Tuesday, slide to 15-5 overall and 9-4 in the CBC. The Hillclimbers move to 12-11, 5-8.
Each team scored a run in the first inning for a 1-1 score. The Hillclimbers then took command with a six-run outburst in the second inning for a 7-1 advantage.
