Helen M. Mangen, 89, of Versailles, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016, at Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles.
She was born Sept. 25, 1926, in Piqua, to the late John Floyd Martin and Edith Mae Sullenberger Martin Ellis.
On Nov. 8, 1950, she married Norman J. Mangen and he preceded her in death June 19, 2002. She also was preceded in death by her stepfather, Wilbur Ellis.
Survivors include her children, Ann (Roger) Crumrine of Bellefontaine, Pat Cochran (Clifford) Smith of Beavercreek and James Mangen of Ansonia; grandchildren, Jessica Bolin, Bridget Adam, Molly Moore, Timothy Crumrine and Robert Crumrine; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A homemaker and a nurse’s aide, she was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Frenchtown.
A memorial service is at a later date, with burial following in Holy Family Cemetery in Frenchtown.
